Meet the Team
The people you'll work with
BT Energy is led by two New Mexico solar professionals who are directly involved in every project.
Co-Founder & Director of Sales
Neil Wenderoth
Neil brings 19+ years of experience in energy sales and business development.
Neil has held leadership roles at several solar organizations and works with customers in a consultative way: listening first, then helping them understand their options.
He started in solar in Albuquerque in 2010, spent years in Northern California with a major solar firm, and later launched his own company before returning home to New Mexico.
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Derek Fannin
Derek brings 16+ years of experience in solar operations.
Derek previously served as Operations Manager at Affordable Solar. His focus is project management, field operations, and building teams that do careful, high-quality work.
After managing installations in Southern California, he returned to Albuquerque, where he leads how BT Energy plans and completes every project.
